If you like to sing, drum and create music, this workshop is for you!

VoxLAB is offering a very special “week before school starts” workshop and a performance opportunity with the legendary German percussionist, composer and improviser, LIMPE FUCHS, and a fabulous team of professional musicians who will mentor the workshop participants.

Limpe Fuchs is an internationally renowned percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, visual artist and singer. She is coming to Norway for the first time! She will be a featured Guest Artist at VoxLAB´s festival: “VårFEST 2022”, 23.-25. Aug in Oslo.

Limpe Fuchs has agreed to lead a 6-day #OccupyOpera workshop on august 15-20 at KHIO, and she will include a portion of what is developed in the workshop in her performance at Kulturkirken Jakob on Aug 25! Limpe Fuchs is famous for her many special, hand-made percussion instruments, including pendulum long string instruments and the lithophone, a stone marimba. Check out her pendulums in this short clip: they are acoustic but they sound electronic!
